Article 29 Part III ★ Fundamental Right — Citizen Shield

Protection of interests of minorities

Quick Summary (TL;DR)
Protection of Language, Script & Culture: Guarantees every section of citizens the right to conserve their distinct language, script, or culture, and bans discrimination in admissions to state-aided educational institutions.
Article 29 celebrates India's extraordinary linguistic and cultural diversity. Under Article 29(1), any section of citizens residing anywhere in India having a distinct language, script, or culture of its own has the absolute Fundamental Right to conserve the same. Under Article 29(2), no citizen shall be denied admission into any educational institution maintained by the State or receiving aid out of State funds on grounds only of religion, race, caste, language, or any of them.
Absolute right to preserve, speak, publish, and pass on your mother tongue, script (like Bengali, Devanagari, Tamil, Ol Chiki, etc.), and folk culture (Art 29(1))
Right to campaign politically for the protection and preservation of one's language without it being deemed a corrupt practice
Equal admission access to all State-maintained and State-aided schools/colleges regardless of your religion, caste, or native language (Art 29(2))
Unlike Article 15(1), Article 29(2) protects ALL citizens against denial of admission in state-aided institutions, subject only to constitutional affirmative action under Article 15(4)–(6).
Ensures that no linguistic community in India can have its mother tongue erased, and no student can be turned away from an aided college because of their language or caste.
